Social media for award-winning hotels & inns
Hewer Social has acted autonomously as the social media front desk and content sharer for The Calcot Collection since 2011. This renowned group of very individual, Cotswolds hotels and inns features Calcot, Barnsley House, The Painswick and The Village Pub, with a fifth sister – The Lord Crewe Arms, Blanchland – nestled on the border of Northumberland and County Durham in the beautiful North Pennines.
Each place, with its various elements, whether surroundings, restaurant, spa, front of house, rooms, has its own very unique qualities and community, which we enhance and build on through varied tone of voice. We aim to bring to life the true sense of each place, extending core excellence in service and a warm welcome (no stuffiness) to past and present guests and visitors, as well as guests-to-be. Consistency in management means that we recognise social media regulars, who often prefer to book and have a catch-up chat via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
Daily social content management
Working closely with the Group Marketing Manager and connected to all the teams via busy Whatsapp groups, we channel a well-paced flow of lively daily happenings, news and coming events, weaving in a strong seasonal slant that entices and beckons online audiences to plan and book. Expertise in sales, promotions and customer service mean we can hold the fort when the teams are at their busiest.
